• Sept. 15, 4-8pm at the Ion: Houston Energy & Climate Startup Week Kickoff Panel and Block Party. Start your week at the Ion with the official kickoff! Join fellow innovators, founders, investors, and energy leaders from across the region and beyond as we set the stage for a week of collaboration, conversation, and climate-tech momentum.

• Sept. 16, 1-3pm at the Ion: NordicLink: Where Nordic Innovation Meets the US, hosted by Business Norway. Whether you’re seeking solid ideas, global partnerships, or investment opportunities, this event will allow you to tap into what’s going on in the climate tech innovation space—paired with unmatched opportunities to connect with leading voices from both the US and Norwegian innovation ecosystems. Our Director of Partnerships, Manon Chappat-Alarcón will be speaking on a panel during this event, which will provide opportunities to connect with leading voices from both the US and Norwegian innovation ecosystems!

• Sept. 17, 8-10:30am at the Ion: From Local to Global: Helping Climatetech Startups Succeed Internationally, sponsored by Woodside Energy and Equinor. Expanding across borders is an exciting growth opportunity for climatetech startups, but it comes with regulatory, cultural, and operational challenges. Our CEO Georgina Campbell Flatter will be a speaker for panel discussion on helping startups expand abroad, & our Head of Houston Lawson Gow will be moderating!

• Sept. 18 5-8pm at Greentown Labs: ACCEL Year 3 Final Showcase, sponsored by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. The event will celebrate the third year of ACCEL, an accelerator program for BIPOC-led startups from Greentown Labs and Browning the Green Space (BGS); and will include a showcase featuring their technologies, accomplishments from the first six months of the program, and where they’re headed next. Our CEO Georgina Campbell Flatter will be making opening remarks, & our Head of Houston Lawson Gow will be moderating a panel on transitioning into climatetech as an underrepresented founder!

Launched in 2024, the official Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week 2025 showcases how Houston is developing and scaling real solutions for the dual challenge: meeting growing global energy demand while reducing carbon emissions. 

The event’s inaugural year in 2024 demonstrated the power of this collaboration, drawing more than 2,000 attendees across 30+ events, featuring 100+ speakers and 125+ startups.
