Join us this fall in Houston, where energy meets climate innovation!

Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week is BACK in 2025! Join us Sept. 15-19, 2025—along with leading energy and climate venture capital investors, industry leaders, and startups from around the world—to showcase the most innovative companies and technologies that are transforming the energy industry while driving a sustainable, low-carbon energy future.

As part of this week, save the date for the ACCEL Year 3 Final Showcase, taking place Sept. 18! The event will celebrate the third year of ACCEL, an accelerator program for BIPOC-led startups from Greentown Labs and Browning the Green Space (BGS); and will include a showcase featuring their technologies, accomplishments from the first six months of the program, and where they’re headed next.

ABOUT HOUSTON ENERGY AND CLIMATE STARTUP WEEK

Launched in 2024, the official Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week 2025 is a collaborative, city-wide initiative dedicated to advancing solutions for the energy transition. This community-led effort is organized by a group of regional organizations, academic institutions, and corporations in the Houston ecosystem, including Rice Alliance, Halliburton Labs, Greentown Labs, Activate, Digital Wildcatters, and the Houston Energy Transition Initiative. Individual investors, startups, and organizations will be independently hosting events around the city during the week, that are showcased on the Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week website.  

The event’s inaugural year in 2024 demonstrated the power of this collaboration, drawing more than 2,000 attendees across 30+ events, featuring 100+ speakers and 125+ startups.
