This is the most comprehensive hydrogen market data system built to date, which is part of the Hydrogen Data Consortium. 

Clean hydrogen has become critical for the global energy transition to reach net zero by 2050, and the Gulf Coast hydrogen ecosystem is playing a critical role. The challenge before us is to transition current hydrogen use to clean technologies and penetrate new markets to reach as much as 80 million metric tons by 2050 in North America — more than a 5x increase.

This workshop covers trends and data highlights for current and future hydrogen supply and demand, from macro-level down to the plant level. The live demonstration of the data system includes specific use cases, market opportunities, and unique insights from the data. This data is critical to understanding addressable markets, informing project development, determining bankability, and fluency in current and future market dynamics.
