InventWood offers MettleWood, a super-strong wood material (that’s stronger than steel), a highly insulative wood material (as a green substitute for polystyrene) and even a transparent wood material.
About the solution
Using their proprietary MettleWood material, InventWood is creating a wood version of the ubiquitous steel I-beam that’s used widely in construction. This MettleWood I-beam is 80% lighter, ~50% cheaper, and far more sustainable than its steel counterparts.
