About the company
Innovator Energy is an industrial technology firm with over 65 granted patents, commercializing breakthrough, patented platform technologies transforming the energy, power, high tech, and chemical sectors.
About the solution
Innovator Energy has developed multiple breakthrough granted patented technologies, including:
ABUNDESS™
ABUNDESS unlocks deep-water pumped storage by decoupling energy storage from ocean pressure. The ABS-approved system uses recyclable, marine-friendly materials to deliver 1+ GWh, closed-loop storage for grid balancing, offshore platforms, and desalination. It unlocks 500 m+ subsea elevation differentials worldwide with high efficiency, low cost energy storage.
FreezeGen™
FreezeGen harvests the heat released when water freezes to provide zero-emission, baseload power in sub-Arctic and Arctic regions. Using proven, off-the-shelf hardware, it taps an untapped 100 TW thermal resource, targeting <$50 / MWh LCOE. Systems generate clean electricity while re-icing water bodies—ideal for data centers, mines, remote grids, and winter-peaking plants.
SolvCor™
The SolvCor platform is the first to boost water’s specific heat capacity to 7.6 J/g-K (≈1.8×). Non-toxic and affordable, it raises the heat-capacity rate up to 80 %, shrink pipe and pump sizes by up to 46 % and 80 %, and more than doubles chilled-water thermal-storage density. Perfect for data centers, commercial HVAC, district cooling, and industrial processes.
SolvOH™
SolvOH turns waste sodium sulfate into high-purity caustic soda with 56 % less energy and 87% less exergy than chlor-alkali. The non-electrochemical, catalyst-free process relies on mature, low-cost equipment, delivering the first economical route from sulfate streams to NaOH. It closes circular loops for batteries, metals, textiles, pigments, and rare-earths in a $50 B global market.
