About the Company
Ensovi offers a carbon-negative, economically competitive, and scalable alternative to petrochemical and fermentation-based production methods to reduce the 2 billion tons of CO2 emissions resulting from organic chemicals manufacturing.
About the Solution
Ensovi has developed an enzymatic or “cell-free” biosynthesis platform that converts CO2 into valuable organic chemicals using renewable energy, water and enzymes that mimic natural processes. The foundation of Ensovi’s platform is its patented method for efficiently recycling nature’s energy powerhouse, the enzyme cofactors NADH and ATP.
Ensovi’s innovative award-winning approach can produce a broad range of commodity and fine chemicals. Products under consideration include fully biodegradable plastics (no residual micro-plastics), sustainable aviation fuel, and selected high-value fine chemicals.
Ensovi’s platform has been validated at lab bench scale (TRL3) with its cofactor recycling technology demonstrating exceptional efficiencies in converting electricity into biochemical energy.
