Endeavor Composites intercepts landfill-destined technical fibers and repurposes them into nonwoven reinforcement. They strive to provide virtually zero waste, circular economy approach to the composite manufacturing industries.
About the Solution
Endeavor’s innovation allowed them to process fibers with aspect ratio (length/diameter) up to 5200 vs. 1500 as it is traditionally the case, opening the doors for a new class of nonwoven reinforcement. The increase in fiber length and increased mechanical performance as well as the tear resistance of the fabrics makes them suitable with pre-existing composite industry manufacturing techniques.
