At Catalyxx, we are producing chemicals for the 21^st Century.

Catalyxx transforms bioethanol into drop-in, cost-competitive, carbon-negative chemicals. We enable our customers to diversify their supply chain and reduce CO2 emissions without sacrificing profitability, existing infrastructure, or product performance.

With the support of the European Investment Bank and the European Innovation Council, and the partnership of leading global chemical companies, we will begin construction on our first commercial scale project in Europe in 2026, with plants in the US and Brazil to follow.

About the Solution

We combine biofeedstock with a petrochemical process to produce identical chemicals…only better.

Our bio-based chemicals –  butanol, hexanol and a higher-alcohol blend – are ready to defossilize a wide variety of industries, including paints, coatings, and adhesives; solvents, surfactants, and plasticizers; and flavors and fragrances, cosmetics, home and personal care, and pharmaceuticals. Our products also can be deployed as low-carbon, renewable blendstocks and feedstocks for gasoline, diesel, marine, and jet fuels.
