- Elementium Materials raised $11M in seed financing to commercialize its safe, high-performance electrolyte for commercial lithium-ion battery materials.
- Diffraqtion, which is building the world’s first quantum camera, powering the largest ultra-high-resolution imaging satellite network, received another investment round as part of its pre-seed.
- Imperium Technologies has raised $2M to expand its hardware and intelligence platforms that help industries optimize steam systems and reduce waste.
- Glimpse has received a strategic investment from IQT for its advanced X-ray technologies, combined with cutting-edge image processing and computer vision software to build battery quality solutions.
- Greentown alum Fervo Energy secured $421M in financing for its flagship Cape Station next-generation geothermal power development.
- Greentown alum Epoch Biodesign closed a $12M funding round to accelerate its use of AI-engineered enzymes to deconstruct end-of-life nylon materials and create circular production of materials across apparel, automotive, and industrial markets.
Partnerships + Deployments
- Nth Cycle announced a $1.1 billion offtake agreement with Trafigura to expand its clean recovery and refining of critical metals from industrial scrap, low-grade ore, and refining waste.
- Octavia Carbon, a company developing, manufacturing, and deploying Direct Air Capture technology to extract carbon from the atmosphere, signed an offtake agreement facilitated by Carbon Direct.
- Rheom Materials, a pioneer of next-gen materials that leverage existing plastics manufacturing to create scalable, biobased alternatives, debuted a bio-based “leather” fashion collection in Milan.
- Climative has launched its interactive web-based insurance data platform that uses AI-assisted home energy assessments to create low-carbon plans for every building.
- Elementium Materials announced a strategic partnership with leading global electrolyte manufacturer, Enchem, to accelerate the commercial deployment of its advanced battery electrolytes.
- Form Energy, a startup developing a new class of ultra-low-cost, long-duration energy storage systems, announced strategic supply agreement with Crusoe to deliver 12 gigawatt-hours of multi-day energy storage systems to support the rapidly growing power needs of AI data centers starting in 2027.
- Greentown alum Dioxycle signed a multi-year offtake partnership with L’Oréal Groupe to transform captured carbon emissions into high-performance, sustainable packaging materials.
- Greentown alum Cyvl was selected for the Partnership for New York City’s 2026 Environmental Tech Lab cohort which will pair its infrastructure mapping platform with NYC’s Department of Environmental Protection to solve real operational challenges.
