- Verdox raised $80M for its electric carbon capture technology, including from Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy Ventures.
- Greentown alum Kula Bio, which develops a sustainable nitrogen biofertilizer, closed a $50M Series A.
- Nth Cycle, a metals processing technology company, raised a $12.5M Series A.
- Wootz announced seed funding, led by Kureha, for its high-performance, aligned carbon nanotube fibers.
Deployments + Partnerships
- Form Energy announced a new collaboration with Georgia Power to identify an optimal project application of up to 15 MW/1500 MWh of energy storage systems to be located in the utility’s service area.
- Energy Toolbase deployed its tech at a Tennessee manufacturing plant and a California distribution facility and has commissioned a behind-the-meter energy storage project with HES Solar.
- OhmConnect launched its service in New York.
- Verdox is deploying its electric carbon capture tech with Norsk Hydro.
- Cemvita Factory opened a biofoundry in Denver and launched the Gold Hydrogen Program for subsurface biomanufacturing of hydrogen.
- Greentown alum Biobot Analytics announced a new partnership with the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
- Euphree is piloting its ebikes at Greentown Houston.
- The University of Manchester and The Alan Turing Institute are deploying QuantAQ‘s air quality monitors alongside traffic monitoring infrastructure.
- Energy Web is collaborating with KORE and Kigen to offer a secure and global connectivity solution for smart grid applications.
- Greentown alum Circularise is partnering with BEC GmbH, Grundfos, Minviro, and the global Rare Earth Industry Association to develop a blockchain-based circular system for assessing rare earth sustainability.
- Trace Matters introduced two mass spectrometry technologies.

- Cyvl.ai has been selected for the NVIDIA Inception program.
- Revterra was accepted to the 2021-2022 IgniteX Climate Tech Accelerator.

- Greentown member AmpUp and alum Circularise have been selected for ENECHANGE Insight Ventures’ second cohort.
