Municipal Decision Making Processes with Respect to Climate Action
June 2, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT
Wednesday, June 2 | 12 p.m. CT / 1 p.m. ET | Virtual Event
Last year we held a series of thought-provoking virtual sessions about municipalities at the frontlines of climate change. The Greentown Community got a taste of the challenges that municipalities face and the opportunities presented our endeavors. Beacon Climate working with a cohort of Tufts Students through the 180 Degree Program has taken that initiative a step further and conducted a study on municipal decision-making practices with respect to climate action and opportunities for the emerging climate-tech industry.
In this session, you will hear a summary of the study, along with a set of resulting ideas and recommendations to the Greentown Labs Community and participating municipalities at 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. Opportunity for discussion and exchange will follow.
Moneer Azzam will be presenting the findings/recommendation and the researchers will be on hand for elaboration and discussion.
