The Coalition, composed of the Environmental League of Massachusetts, Greentown Labs, Massachusetts Business Roundtable, Massachusetts Competitive Partnership, and Northeast Clean Energy Council (NECEC), has united to help propel the climatetech industry forward in Massachusetts. This event aims to explore the economic opportunities and challenges of investing in climatetech and to discuss the state’s competitive positioning within the national landscape.

Panel: Economic Impact and Opportunity of Climatetech Investment
Experts will discuss the economic implications of the Mass Leads bill’s climatetech initiative, addressing whether Massachusetts can afford such an investment (yes) and if Massachusetts can afford not to make such an investment (the consequences of not investing, including missing out on workforce opportunities, etc.)


Panel: Understanding the Climatetech Industry
This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the climatetech sector, including the national landscape, Massachusetts’s competitiveness, and the efforts of other states to invest in their climatetech industries. Panelists will also discuss what climatetech looks like (and can look like) in Massachusetts and the types of companies attracted to the state.
