Start your week at the Ion with the official kickoff to Houston Energy & Climate Startup Week! Join fellow innovators, founders, investors, and energy leaders from across the region and beyond as we set the stage for a week of collaboration, conversation, and climate-tech momentum.

This high-energy event will feature brief welcome remarks, a panel discussion and networking, followed by a block party on the Ion Plaza—complete with music, drinks and light bites from Ion District restaurants.

Whether you’re new to the scene or a longtime ecosystem builder, this is the place to connect before an active Houston Energy & Climate Startup Week begins!

ABOUT HOUSTON ENERGY AND CLIMATE STARTUP WEEK

Launched in 2024, the official Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week 2025 is a collaborative, city-wide initiative dedicated to advancing solutions for the energy transition. This community-led effort is organized by a group of regional organizations, academic institutions, and corporations in the Houston ecosystem, including Rice Alliance, Halliburton Labs, Greentown Labs, Activate, Digital Wildcatters, and the Houston Energy Transition Initiative. Individual investors, startups, and organizations will be independently hosting events around the city during the week, that are showcased on the Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week website.  

The event’s inaugural year in 2024 demonstrated the power of this collaboration, drawing more than 2,000 attendees across 30+ events, featuring 100+ speakers and 125+ startups.
