In this session we’ll be learning from host Nisha Desai, Founder and CEO of Intention, and Somesh Singh with TiE Houston. Somesh is an angel investor, C-Suite executive, founder, board director and advisor for global public and private companies. TiE Houston is a nonprofit venture devoted to entrepreneurs in all industries, at all stages, throughout the entrepreneurial life cycle. With a global reach and a local focus, the heart of TiE efforts lies in its five foundational programs, – Mentoring, Networking, Education, Funding, and Incubation.

The Houston Ion District Investor Activation Program is helping build an equitable climatetech industry capable of rapid deployment by addressing a fundamental challenge: the region’s lack of funding for early-stage climatetech startups, and especially for those led by underrepresented founders.
