Join us on September 13th for Greentown Houston’s first-ever Climate Impact Awards Dinner

Close out the inaugural Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week with Greentown Houston’s first-ever Climate Impact Awards Dinner, a semi-formal fundraising event celebrating the impact of our 75+ startups!

The event will feature a cocktail hour and sit-down dinner, a distinguished speaker, dancing, and a silent auction. It will also honor Greentown members in the categories of “Climate Responsibility Award”, “Rising Star Award”, and “Climate Impact Startup of the Year”, as voted on by Greentown’s startup community. And finally, we’re thrilled to have Lisa Lin, LEED AP, Director of Sustainability for Harris County as our distinguished speaker!

Lisa Lin is the first Director of Sustainability for Harris County. With over 15 years of sustainability experience in the public, private, non-profit, and higher education sectors, her previous roles and responsibilities include leading the implementation of sustainable transportation initiatives at Rice University, coordinating San Antonio’s first Climate Action and Adaptation Plan during her time as Climate Program Manager for the City of San Antonio’s Office of Sustainability, and serving as the Sustainability Manager in the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability for the City of Houston. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and recently completed degree requirements for her Master’s in Sustainable Urban Development from the University of Oxford.
