Celebrate the inaugural Boston Climate Week at Greentown Labs!

Boston Climate Week is an annual gathering of climate events, workshops, and community activities happening across Greater Boston. It brings together businesses, nonprofits, government, and individuals to accelerate climate action in our region.

Greentown Boston is excited to have a full line-up of events during the inaugural Boston Climate Week! Join us at our incubator on May 6 and 7 for two full days of programming—including a Climate Salon, startup pitch event, and a special edition of our signature EnergyBar.

As the world’s largest climate and energy incubator, Greentown Labs is proud to be an essential convener of the local climatetech ecosystem. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate the community we’ve built around our incredible community of entrepreneurs!

Climate Salon

Wednesday, May 6 – 9 to 10:30 a.m.

​The Massachusetts ecosystem is home to some of the most successful climatetech startups in the country—from building tech, to fusion, offshore wind, plastics recycling, hydrogen, industrial decarbonization solutions, and more.

​During Boston Climate Week, Climate Salon is teaming up with Greentown Labs to celebrate the success of this ecosystem—and discuss its challenges for future growth. From the country’s foremost academic community to a vibrant investment community and a culture of innovation, we’ll dive into what makes this ecosystem so special and how we can continue to make Massachusetts home for the next generation of talent.

Greentown Boston supports more than 150 game-changing climatetech and energy startups that are reshaping how we power our world, grow our food, build our infrastructure, and reduce emissions across key greenhouse‑gas‑emitting sectors—and this is your opportunity to meet them!

​Join us during Boston Climate Week to hear pitches from members of our startup community and network with other climate champions passionate about innovations in climatetech and the energy transition.

Wednesday, May 6 – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

We’re joining forces with Canary Media to host a special edition of EnergyBar, our signature networking event! This event will feature a timely conversation focused on strategies to retain climate and energy innovators in Massachusetts.

Venue Information

Parking is incredibly limited at Greentown Labs and we encourage attendees to consider taking advantage of public transportation. We’re a short walk from the recently opened Union Square station, as well as 1 mile away from both the Harvard and Porter MBTA stations. Union Square in Somerville is also easily accessible via the #86 and #91 MBTA buses. We offer bike parking on-site and the closest Bluebikes stations are at Dane St., Conway Park and Union Square.
