Startup Science Fair @ Boston Tech Week
May 26, 2026 @ 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET

Celebrating climatetech and energy startups @ Boston Tech Week
Remember science fairs? Same energy, bigger problems – and our startups are solving them. Greentown Labs & Boston-area innovators are opening the doors for an afternoon of live demos, hands-on hardware, and showcasing the kind of tech that actually needs to exist. Wander the floor, interrogate the founders, touch the prototypes.
No decks, no panels — just builders showing their work to anyone curious enough to ask questions. There will be community votes for prizes at the end! Come with your skepticism; leave impressed!
This event is hosted by Studio3e8, Laminar, Transaera, JP Morgan, and Greentown as part of #BOSTechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Learn more at www.tech-week.com.
Interested in showcasing? Startups interested in showing off their technology, poster, or live demo can apply here by May 8th at 5 p.m. ET. Startups will be notified of their participation on May 13th!

Venue Information
Parking is incredibly limited at Greentown Labs and we encourage attendees to consider taking advantage of public transportation. We’re a short walk from the recently opened Union Square station, as well as 1 mile away from both the Harvard and Porter MBTA stations. Union Square in Somerville is also easily accessible via the #86 and #91 MBTA buses. We offer bike parking on-site and the closest Bluebikes stations are at Dane St., Conway Park and Union Square.
