About the company
Immedia Power is expanding where power-intensive infrastructure can be deployed.
The DOR platform is designed for EV charging hubs, edge data centers, ports, defense applications, and other operations that need substantial power but are constrained by both limited grid capacity and limited site space.
By bringing compact, permanent power directly to the point of use, DOR can help developers and operators activate locations that might otherwise be delayed, downsized, or ruled out entirely.
About the solution
DOR is a compact onsite power platform designed to turn power- and space-constrained locations into viable infrastructure sites.
It is designed to deliver the power output typically associated with much larger systems from approximately the footprint of a commercial refrigerator. This allows operators to add meaningful capacity without consuming valuable charging bays, computing space, port operating areas, or other limited site real estate.
DOR operates in parallel with the grid, adding power where available utility capacity is insufficient. Rather than waiting for the grid to provide all the electricity a site requires, customers can deploy additional capacity directly where demand is growing.
Each DOR unit is managed by Power OS, Immedia Power’s intelligent control platform. Power OS coordinates DOR units, available grid power, and changing site demand, creating a straightforward operating experience while helping customers manage how and when onsite power is used.
DOR’s multi-fuel architecture is designed to provide flexibility across different locations, fuel availability, infrastructure conditions, and operating requirements. This enables customers to use a consistent power platform across sites that may not share the same energy infrastructure.
For EV charging developers, DOR can help unlock locations where grid capacity or equipment space would otherwise limit the number or power level of chargers.
For edge data center operators, it can enable computing capacity to be deployed closer to users and demand, including in locations where the local grid cannot support the required load.
For ports, DOR can support additional power for electrification, equipment, and shoreside operations without consuming scarce working space or relying solely on major utility upgrades.
For defense applications, DOR is being developed to provide distributed power in locations where grid access, space, operational flexibility, and energy resilience are important.
DOR is more than an onsite generation unit. It is a capacity-enabling platform designed to expand site choice, accelerate infrastructure deployment, and change where power-intensive operations can be built.
Customers are expected to be able to purchase or lease DOR, or access power through Immedia Power’s Power-as-a-Service model, reducing the need for upfront capital investment.
