About the Company 

Circular Materials is an innovative Italian scale-up focused on the low carbon intensity recovery of Critical and Strategic Raw Materials from industrial wastewater, through the proprietary technology platform SWaP (Supercritical Water Precipitation) that enables a 99% recovery rate in an EU-wide network of Circular Materials Hubs, serving multiple industrial sectors.

In March 2025, the European Commission selected Circular Materials as a Strategic Project under the Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA), recognizing the company’s key role in building a sustainable alternative to conventional mining and strengthening global supply chain resiliency.

About the Solution

Circular Materials has developed an efficient, scalable, and cost-effective recovery process of CRMs directly from wastewater, pursuing these objectives: reduce waste destined for landfills, lower the ecological footprint of industrial processes and contribute to the strategic goal of securing a global sustainable supply of critical materials.
