Mass High Tech 20 Women to Watch in 2014

Our very own amazing Emily Reichert just received some wonderful recognition. Mass High Tech named her one of the 20 “Women to Watch” for 2014!

This is the 11th year that Mass High Tech has honored the women in Boston who are not only influential leaders, but also have a major impact on business, science, academia and technology in the region. Emily is one of the few people who has a hand in all four key areas.

Emily has been leading Greentown Labs through a period of significant growth, moving us from our first small space in Boston’s Innovation District into our new 33,000 square foot facility in Somerville.

Previously, Emily was Director of Business Operations at the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry and a Group Leader and Principal Scientist at TIAX, a privately held technical consulting company that spun out of Arthur D. Little, Inc.

But what many may not know about are her accomplishments outside of the professional world.

She has climbed all 48 of the 4,000 foot peaks in New Hampshire and traveled the world to experience the beauty of nature. This includes visiting the Adriatic coastline as well as the Julian and Albanian Alps; climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro; trekking the Andes and Amazon Basin; exploring the Chinese provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan; sampling the port wines of the Douro Valley, Portugal; cycling along the Danube River; and camping next to a pristine fjord full of icebergs in Greenland.

Please join us in congratulating Emily!
