- Elemental Advanced Materials closed a $20M funding round to scale production of carbon nanomaterials, clean hydrogen, and recovered critical minerals.
- AllSpice.io, which is building a development platform that helps hardware teams communicate more effectively, reduce prototype errors, and accelerate time to market, raised a $15M Series A.
- Terralytiq—whose enterprise software platform helps manufacturers cut supply chain costs and carbon—announced an investment from and strategic partnership with Greentown partner Schneider Electric’s VC arm, SE Ventures.
- Matterworks, which is unlocking molecular intelligence using self-supervised machine learning, closed a Series A round.
- Endeavor Composites received a Phase II STTR grant for its carbon-fiber dispersion tech.
- SolarKal, a solar marketplace, received its second loan from LACI’s Cleantech Debt Fund.
- Greentown alum Fervo Energy secured $206M in financing for its Cape Station geothermal project and “drilled its hottest and deepest well yet—at 15,000 feet and 500 degrees Fahrenheit—in just 16 days.”
- Carbon to Value Initiative alum Carbon Upcycling closed an $18M investment round for its groundbreaking technology, which produces high-performance, sustainable supplementary cementitious products.
- Greentown alum Biobot Analytics, a leader in wastewater intelligence, announced a funding round led by Valor Equity Partners.

- Ardent Process Technologies and Greentown partner Braskem successfully completed a multi-year joint-development program for an innovative olefin-paraffin separation technology.
- Titan Advanced Energy Solutions, the developer of advanced battery-management systems, announced a partnership with Siemens to improve quality assurance for their joint customers.
- Agrilab Technologies installed its “mini” aerated-composting system at Land’s Sake Farm in Weston, MA.
- Cellsense partnered with the company Formerly Known As Haeckels to create an exfoliating fabric made from algae polysaccharides and regenerated cellulose derived from post-consumer cotton waste.
- Sublime Systems, pioneer of low-carbon cement, announced nine construction companies that will serve as sales partners for upcoming projects.

- Nth Cycle became the “first U.S. company to produce premium battery materials from scrap metal.”

- Cemvita‘s spinout GoldH2 has delivered the first successful subsurface bio-stimulated hydrogen production field trial.
- Greentown alum Syzygy Plasmonics began development of the world’s first electrified-biogas-to-SAF plant in Uruguay, which will produce more than 350k gallons of SAF from dairy and agri-energy feedstock.

- Greentown alum Kuva Systems, whose industrial IoT platform provides fully automated, image-based, continuous methane monitoring and quantification, was acquired by Sensirion Connected Solutions.

- Helix Earth—which is revolutionizing air conditioning and carbon capture and sequestration—saw its CEO Rawand Rasheed named to ASME’s 2025 Mechanical Engineering Watch List.
- Tiya Gordon, COO of curbside-EV-charging company it’s electric, was selected for the Project W Women Entrepreneurs Boot Camp | Climate Tech cohort. The startup also received a 2025 Notable Design for Transportation award from Core77.
- Biospheric AI, a data-driven energy-forecasting company, was chosen for Cleantech Open Northeast’s 2025 cohort.
- Fresh Inset, which improves the shelf-life, appearance, and quality of fresh produce, was named a finalist for Packaging Europe’s Sustainability Awards 2025.
- Active Surfaces—developer of ultra-thin-film, flexible solar technology—and Janta Power—maker of a scalable, 3D-solar tower—were selected for Plug and Play Japan‘s Summer 2025 Batch in the energy vertical. Active Surfaces was also selected to join Cohort 15 of the Joules Accelerator.
- American Battery Technology Company won the “Outstanding Contribution to Recycling & Reuse in Battery Materials” award at the annual industry Fastmarkets Lithium Supply and Battery Raw Materials Voltas Awards Celebration.
