- Reframe Systems raised a $20M Series A to continue building sustainable homes quickly and more predictably using robotics, algorithms, and local microfactories.
- QEA Tech received up to $4.2M CAD in funding and advisory services from the National Research Council Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program to support the development of its drone and AI-based building-energy-audit technology.
- Peak Power was awarded $3.1M from the Government of Canada to deploy its end-to-end battery-storage solution at three locations in Toronto.
- Greentown members Active Surfaces, Anvil Capture Systems, BlueShift, EQORE, HKG Energy, Resolute Methane, Prophet AI, and alum MacroCycle Technologies were awarded a total of $1.3M in Catalyst/DICES and InnovateMass grants from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.
- Kanin Energy secured a credit facility to advance the development of its waste-heat-to-power projects across North America.
- Greentown alum RenewCO2 raised a $5M seed round to commercialize and scale its technology that turns CO2 to chemicals and fuels.
- Greentown alum Seabound received a £1.1M grant for its specialized marine-carbon-capture technology in the sixth round of the UK Government’s Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition.
- Greentown alum SpadXTech received $200k from the National Science Foundation to advance its bio-based sustainable alternatives to traditional leather.
Partnerships + Deployments
- Cemvita signed an agreement with the government of Rio Grande do Sul to deploy its bio-stimulation technologies at a new industrial plant in southern Brazil that will produce carbon-negative industrial chemical byproducts, such as sustainable aviation fuel and innovative biofertilizers.
- Sublime Systems partnered with STACK Infrastructure to use its clean cement-production technology in a new data center.
- QEA Tech launched its operations in Japan, beginning with a precise, data-driven building envelope audit for the Tokyo National Museum.
- Flux Marine partnered with Highfield Boats to integrate its electric boat propulsion system into Highfield Boats’ rigging and assembly center.
- Harmony Desalting—developer of affordable, at-scale desalination technology—concluded its first seawater desalting unit, Searay, and began work on its largest pilot yet, Chimaera. The startup is also deploying its tech in the Plum Creek Conservation District to enhance freshwater supply for agriculture using its batch reverse-osmosis technology, and the district recently received a $200k grant from the Texas Water Development Board to support the project.
- AeroShield signed an agreement to test its ultra-clear triple pane insulating aerogel with Alpen High Performance Products’ window insert to determine the energy-efficiency of the combination compared to that of regular windows.
- EarthEn launched its Heat Battery, a next-generation solution to decarbonize high-temperature industrial heat processes using renewable energy.
- EarthEn, GeoFuels, Janta Power, and PolyQor were named to Energytech Nexus and Browning the Green Space’s COPILOT program, focused on developing pilot projects along the Gulf Coast.

- Hertha Metals hosted Congressman Morgan Luttrell at its Texas plant to see its sustainable single-step steel and iron production process, which, within months, has successfully produced environmentally friendly iron and steel.
- Mars Materials announced industry-first validation of its product, an impurity-advantaged acrylonitrile made from captured carbon dioxide, by SNF—an industry leader in the global water-soluble polymers market.
- Greentown members Sublime Systems, Active Surfaces, Mantel, Phoenix Tailings, and Syzygy Plasmonics and alumni e-Zinc, Electra, Capture6, Via Separations, and Carbonfree, were featured in Decarb Tech Invest’s 2025 Disruptors Report as groundbreaking hardware innovators advancing industrial decarbonization through breakthroughs in clean hydrogen, carbon removal, low-carbon materials, and more.
- Form Energy and Sublime Systems were recognized by Technology Magazine as among the top 10 leading climatetech companies.
