Funding
- Fervo Energy, a developer of next-generation geothermal projects, raised $138M in funding to build, own, and operate 24/7 carbon-free power plants.
- Greentown alum Bevi raised a $70M Series D from Cowen Sustainable Investments for its smart water cooler technology, which has helped customers save more than 300 million single-use bottles and cans.
- Elemental Recycling received an investment from Freestone for its technology that upcycles plastic and other organic waste material into high-quality graphite and hydrogen.
- Our alum Dexai Robotics, maker of the food-prep robot Alfred, raised nearly $6.7M.
- Mantel raised a $2M seed round, led by The Engine, for its novel carbon capture solution.
- Zero received a $65K Catalyst grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, which will help the startup bring its electrification marketplace to Massachusetts homeowners.
Partnerships
- AmpUp has entered into a preferred-network partnership with EvoCharge to provide simple, convenient charging options for EV drivers, charging station owners, and fleet managers.
- Bodhi, which has developed a leading solar customer experience platform, is partnering with residential solar finance company Sungage Financial.
- Raise Green launched a climate finance toolkit with Atmos Bank, GreenPortfolio, Joro, and Carbon Collective to provide everyday people with small steps they can take to achieve their climate and financial goals.
