This event will launch our latest corporate partnerships accelerator program, supporting innovations in the responsible development of offshore wind energy. The Offshore Wind Challenge, in partnership with Vineyard Wind and enabled by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, is focused on advances in marine mammal monitoring, specifically for data collection, transmission, and analysis offshore.

At this event, leaders from the offshore wind industry will highlight both cutting-edge efforts to protect marine mammals in the responsible development of offshore wind farms and the economic boom this industry is poised to create in the Northeast and beyond.

You’ll hear from Vineyard Wind, the project firm building the first utility-scale offshore wind farm in the United States as well as other industry leaders in efforts to protect marine ecosystems and build the offshore wind industry, including: Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, The New England Aquarium, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and more!
