We look forward to welcoming you to Greentown Labs for the June iteration of our signature networking event, put on in partnership with the Consulate General of Canada in Boston!
Navigating first-of-a-kind (FOAK) projects is critical for climatetech innovators and ecosystems. Join us for a panel highlighting FOAK climatetech projects in Canada, featuring notable Greentown alumni. The discussion will explore success stories as well as highlight opportunities that exist for the deployment of innovative climate solutions.

- Moderator: Kristy Morse, Senior Manager, Supply Chain Consulting, EY
- Cameron Halliday, COO, Mantel Capture. Mantel is building out their FOAK–a CCUS technology–in partnership with Kruger in Trois-Rivieres Quebec.
- Limor Spector, President, Ventures, GE Vernova. GE Vernova has an over 100 year presence in Canada and builds wind and gas turbines, as well as powering the hydro system. They have also invested or partnered with many Canadian startups including Opus One, Svante, and ThinkLabs.
- Brandon MacDonald, VP Development and Product, Via Separations. Via Separations put their first commercial facility of their membrane technology in the Grande Prairie Alberta International Paper mill.

Venue Information
Parking is incredibly limited at Greentown Labs and we encourage attendees to consider taking advantage of public transportation. We’re a short walk from the newly opened Union Square station, as well as 1 mile away from the Harvard MBTA station. Union Square in Somerville is also easily accessible via the #86 and #91 MBTA buses. We offer bike parking on-site and the closest Bluebikes stations are at Dane St., Conway Park and Union Square.
