About the company

NW is an independent operator of extremely high-power electric charging stations (IECharge®), distributed electricity storage units (JBox®), and new micro-electricity production units (Tikaz ®). The group was founded in 2007 by Jean-Christophe Kerdelhué, an entrepreneur who is passionate about the energy sector with 35 years in the field.

NW’s stakeholders range from electric vehicle drivers to network owners and distributors, landowners, farmers, and/or major companies, as well as institutions and elected representatives. NW is France’s leading energy transition unicorn (Next40), and a leader in energy storage solutions. The group operates in France and internationally.

About the solution

What makes NW particularly innovative is the alliance, the first of its kind, between storage (JBox) and electric mobility (IECharge)—each and every IECharge station is connected to a JBox storage unit. This alliance means that extremely high charging powers are available, without the grid being impacted, at the lowest prices on the market (€0.30kWh). The energy stored in the batteries is used to power electric vehicles.

With its patented, world-class innovation, NW wants to make the energy transition accessible to everyone.
