About the Solution

RelGen turns any truck into a mobile platform for the creation, storage, and delivery of renewable energy by converting the kinetic energy lost during breaking and gliding into clean, low-cost electricity. This technology:

• Reduces or eliminates the need to idle a truck’s engine, saving fuel and increasing driver comfort
• Doubles trucks’ current 12-volt charging capacity
• Is capable of 12-, 24-, and 48-volt configurations
• Increases the fuel economy of trucks by replacing mechanical belt driven components, currently restrained by a lack of available power, with electric units
• Requires no changes to power train geometry
• Can be fit to most Class 7 or 8 trucks
• Installs in about four hours with no specialized tools or training required
