Kevin Dutt
Interim CEO and Board Member, Greentown Labs
Management Consultant, Sustainable Edge LLC
Kevin Dutt has spent the past two and a half decades engaged in making an impact through mission-oriented endeavors, focused on environmentally sustainable and socially responsible enterprises. Kevin has led business ventures in the US and abroad in areas including solar powered devices, stormwater management, green building systems, electric vehicles, food supply chain traceability, and organic waste. Kevin has been fortunate enough to have been part of teams that have successfully built and sold high growth companies in the private sector. His experiences spans across operational, financial, and strategic roles within these efforts.
Besides a strong drive to build entities, Kevin has been active on the investment side of the impact space as well. He managed the Boston Impact Fund, a cutting-edge fund in the Greater Boston Area that focuses on supporting growing ventures in underserved communities. Kevin had also previously been on the technology investment committee for the New York State Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Most recently, Kevin was the Interim CFO at American Promise, a non-profit leading the charge to restore reasonable limits on contribution money in our campaigns and elections.
Kevin earned his BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and his MBA at Boston University, where he specialized in operations and quantitative methods. He is an avid cyclist, rower, and winter hiker, as well as a novice beekeeper in his free time. He fancies himself a better chef than he really is and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
