Hopin Guide

The Greentown Labs Climatetech Summit will take place on Hopin, an event platform that provides ample opportunities for participation and networking!

How to set up your profile on the event platform

Already registered for the Climatetech Summit? Now it’s time to create your profile on Hopin!

Creating your account and profile will take about one minute.

  1. Select your ticket type here
  2. Fill out your name, email address, and create a password
  3. Click “create your profile”
  4. Fill out your name, social media links (optional), and headline (title + company).

Main areas of the platform include:

  • Reception, which is the main landing page for the summit. Here you can view the agenda, get comfortable with the Hopin platform, and watch an instructional video for the Startup Showcase.
  • The Main Stage, which will host all panels and speaker sessions.
  • Help Desk (Expo), where the Greentown team is available to answer questions and provide support.
  • Networking, which you can use on Nov. 5 starting at 3:30 p.m. ET to automatically connect with other event attendees in one-on-one meetings for up to five minutes.
  • Startup Booths (Expo), where you’ll hear startup pitches on Friday, Nov. 6 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. ET. During this time, jump around to different booths to meet our entrepreneurs, ask questions, and network. To get the most out of this experience, please plan to share both your audio and video when entering booths and be respectful of conversations already taking place. Check out the showcasing startups here!
  • Event Chat, which will be our primary method of communication with attendees throughout the event. There is also a chat function in the stage and in booths, which you are welcome to use to introduce yourself. We recommend you update your profile with a headshot, title, company, and your LinkedIn.
  • Greentown Labs Booth (Expo), where attendees can connect with members of the Greentown team throughout the event.
  • People, which includes a list of everyone who has registered for the event and allows you to direct message participants. You can also invite someone to join you in a private meeting room by inviting them to a video call. Please make sure the other person is aware and interested in having a video call before sending the invitation!
