This is just one of the intersections we see in Greentown Boston’s 26-bench\, BSL-2 wet lab\, which is home to startups creating everything from alternative meats\, to energy-efficient air conditioning\, to metabolic assays. In this shared\, multidisciplinary lab\, our startups innovate in chemistry\, biology\, materials science\, and much more. \n\n\n\nThis July\, we’re bringing together experts in the fields of climatetech and public health for an insightful panel discussion. Whether you are a lab bench scientist looking for your place in the climate movement or are simply excited about exploring the intersection of these fields\, this event is for you! \n\n\n\nOn this panel\, you will hear from researchers\, entrepreneurs\, and nonprofit leaders who are at the forefront of innovation in both human health and climate change mitigation; gain valuable insights from their experiences; and explore the potential of cross-disciplinary collaborations. \n\n\n\nTogether\, we can find innovative ways to mitigate the impact of climate change on public health and promote a healthier\, more resilient future. \n\n\n\nPanelists\n\n\n\nSezin Yigit\, Co-founder of Mori and Associate Director of Science Operations and Strategic Partnerships at LabCentral \n\n\n\nRamon Sanchez\, Principal Investigator and Research Associate at Harvard School of Public Health \n\n\n\nSorin Grama\, Co-founder and CEO of Transaera\, Inc. \n\n\n\nModerated by Carey Ann Comeau\, Senior Director of Wet Lab Operations at Greentown Labs \n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\nIn ET:10 to 10:30 a.m.: Networking over coffee and light breakfast*10:30 to 11:10 a.m.: Panel discussion11:10 to 11:30 a.m.: Audience questions11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Networking* \n\n\n\n*in-person only \n\n\n\nRegister Now\n\n\n\nIf you have questions or need to request accommodation\, please reach out to Greentown Labs’ Events Coordinator\, Kelly Wilson (kwilson@greentownlabs.com) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease note that by registering to attend this event you are accepting these terms: You consent to your image or likeness being used in content associated with the event; You release Greentown Labs and all partners from any and all liability stemming from any event-related incident. \n\n\n\nVenue Information \n\n\n\nParking is incredibly limited at Greentown Labs and we encourage attendees to consider taking advantage of public transportation.
